Nicole Williams-McMillan has been named regional director of Human Resources for CHRISTUS Schumpert Health System. McMillan joined the health system in 2007 after relocating from Michigan, where she served as a Senior Human Resources Representative for FedEx Express. She is currently completing work on a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. McMillan is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the National Black MBA Association.

Donald L. Huguley, Jr., a financial advisor with the local office of A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc, has completed training for the title of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. Huguley earned the title of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor after completing an extensive training course offered through the College for Financial Planning, the country’s oldest provider of financial planning education established in 1972. Huguley has been with A.G. Edwards since Sept. 2007.

Shreveport Mayor Cedric B. Glover added to his staff world renowned musician Brady Blade, Jr. as assistant director of Economic Development. A native of Shreveport, Blade is an accomplished and noted rock, pop and country drummer, record producer and composer who recently resided in Stockholm, Sweden. A graduate of Shreveport’s Centenary College, Brady’s business savvy led him to achieve many successes in the U.S. and Europe ultimately becoming manager to the Brand New Heavies. From there, Blade expanded his business network to include production, writing, internet websites and cutting edge technology and his own record label Brick Top Recordings LLC. Brady’s position as assistant director of Economic Development is part of a new direction Mayor Glover is taking in the area of Economic Development, which may include additional positions or reassignment of duties, depending on the outcome of the ongoing review process.
