If you are looking for authentic Greek and Lebanese cuisine, Albasha must be at the top of your list. Albasha’s reputation of exquisite food is growing, and owner Eddie Samhan couldn’t be more delighted.
For 30 years, Samhan has lived in northwest Louisiana, but he was born and raised in Lebanon. He is the expert in Greek and Lebanese food. “There is great satisfaction in seeing so many satisfied customers,” he said. “We even have customers from Longview, Marshall and Natchitoches.”
It’s no wonder, with popular entrees like Mousaka, the Greek version of lasagna. The Chicken Shawarma Plate is another wonderful choice. It’s a solid breast of chicken marinated overnight and cooked horizontally, rotisserie style. The dish is cooked slowly to retain its natural flavor.
The Lamb Shank Plate and the Meat Stuffed Plate are two other items you have to taste to believe the wonderful flavor. The Meat Stuffed Plate is prepared with premium ground beef and rice, along with grape leaves, cabbage, squash and stuffed bell pepper.
Dinner is amazing and priced from $9.95 to $14.95, and lunch is only $7.50 to $9.95.

The homemade mashed potatoes make a great complement to the dish.
